2025 Monash Motorsport
Livery Concept
M25’s identity emerges from extensive research into Monash Motorsport’s history and visual image, with Copamate selected as a key partner to help realise the team’s evolved direction for 2025. Marking 25 years of Monash Motorsport, this project asked us to reflect on MMS’s heritage while also embracing new ideas in design, application methods, and manufacturing constraints. To strengthen the brand image, we selected a custom, vibrant yet rich blue metallic paint as the primary colour, complemented by dynamic, flowing graphics spanning multiple aerodynamic components and creating visual continuity between the monocoque and aerodynamic devices. We chose white, a colour deeply rooted in MMS’s legacy, as the main contrast, creating a bold, cohesive look that celebrates the team’s history while signalling its ongoing commitment to innovation.

A closer look at M25 reveals an identity that goes far beyond its vibrant blue appearance. The custom Monash Motorsport metallic blue helps the car stand out among competitors, while flowing white accents add sharp contrast and unify the livery across all surfaces. The design uses the car’s aerodynamic shapes as a canvas, allowing visual elements to suggest motion and create cohesion between the monocoque and aerodynamic components. Strategic areas of exposed carbon fiber remain unpainted to preserve precise engineering tolerances defined in CAD and to reduce premature livery wear due to regular maintenance. Every aspect of the design is carefully resolved, ensuring M25’s distinctive character is visible from every angle, providing visual appeal both from a distance and up close.

Subtle white accents reference visual themes from past MMS cars, while a custom blue metallic paint, created in collaboration with Copamate and PPG, sets a bold foundation for a new chapter. From every angle and under changing light, the livery draws attention to M25’s contours, with sweeping patterns that move across the bodywork and aerodynamic elements, evoking a continuous sense of motion. Delicate details reward close inspection, while the overall scheme conveys a strong, unified impression from a distance.

In partnership with S-Trend, the Monash Motorsport 2025 apparel and competition uniform concept introduces a revitalised team identity, bringing a fresh visual direction and incorporating advanced materials. The competition uniform draws inspiration from the past decade’s style, updating the side panel taper while maintaining the contemporary character that defines Monash Motorsport.
For 2025, the uniform features side panels made from breathable perforated mesh, and sponsor logos are rendered in a single colour to maximise clarity and visibility from every angle. Throughout the development process, S-Trend collaborated with the team to select fabrics and finishes that prioritise comfort and add sophistication to each piece, ensuring the collection reflects both innovation and the dynamic spirit of Monash Motorsport.
