Livery and Design Process
With the bold new image of TS 23 established as the leading identity for 2023, TS_19 was selected for conversion into an autonomous vehicle. The existing 2021 livery needed updating to align with the TS 23 brand identity. Vinyl was chosen for this project, as resources were divided between the TS 23 car and the autonomous TS 23AV. The revised colour palette featured white, hot rod red, and black, with black substituting for exposed carbon fibre. White provided strong contrast, helping distinguish the identity of TS 23AV from TS 23. The design was carefully adapted to the geometric proportions of the TS_19 chassis and sidepods, using angular lines and dynamic, arrow-like shapes. This approach created a sharp, modern appearance and ensured the design effectively complemented the vehicle’s unique form and project requirements.

Design Process
TS 23AV’s identity was developed and executed on a tight timeline, moving from initial sketches to final livery application in less than three weeks. To meet this challenge, the team partnered with 3M as the vinyl supplier and selected materials known for quality and durability. The colour palette featured hot rod red, white, and satin black, with extra emphasis on white to clearly distinguish TS 23AV from TS 23. The livery’s forms and colour blocking were carefully tailored to the proportions and surfaces of the TS_19 chassis, ensuring the vinyl applied smoothly and looked cohesive from every angle. Throughout the process, the team balanced geometric lines with dynamic, arrow-inspired shapes, creating a sharp, modern appearance that conveyed both speed and innovation. Despite the compressed schedule and shared resources, the final result was a cohesive, professional identity for TS 23AV, demonstrating the team’s ability to deliver high-quality, thoughtful design under pressure.
